Frantoio is an Italian varietal of olive that has a delicious nutty flavour. The oil is soft & buttery with a peppery finish. The pepper is a sign that the oil has been newly pressed and has a high degree of antioxidants. It's a perfect oil for Mediterranean recipes such as pasta. Drizzle over bruschetta or a Caprese salad. Use for grilling meats or roasted vegetables. For a classic bread dipper mix it with out Cask 18 Balsamic. Because it is an unflavoured (Cultivar) oil it will pair with virtually any Balsamic Vinegar.
Suggested pairings: Cask 18, White, Garlic Cilantro, Zesty Lemon, Raspberry or Blueberry Balsamic Vinegar.
